Freight Best Practice.....

.....on tap at Haydock Truckfest 2007

Drivers and truck operators are invited to join the Freight Best Practice Team at the forthcoming Truckfest which is being held on the 15th and 16th of September at Haydock Park Racecourse. The team will be located in the Transport Operators’ Lounge, and drivers and operators are invited to come along and meet the team and share new ideas about best practice. All programme publications will be on hand for drivers and operators to discuss and take away completely free of charge as usual.

On display will be one of the programme’s newest resource; the Transport Operators Pack (TOP). TOP provides excellent practical ‘every day’ support material to help fleet operators implement best practice in the workplace and is designed for those with day-to-day vehicle and driver responsibilities.

TOP will act in direct support of tasks essential to running a successful fuel management programme. It includes helpful checklists, spreadsheets, forms to assist in the collection of fuel data, presentations, posters and key fact reminders. The pack has been designed to support an A4 ring binder for updating purposes on a subscriber basis. There a limited supply of TOP ring binders available so make sure you order yours early to avoid disappointment.

The pack contains a variety of practical and reference material to help you implement best practice within your operation. The material is specifically intended to be used by the Transport Manager and Owner Driver. TOP is divided into six clear sections:

  •  Forms
  •  Checklist
  •  Top Tips
  •  Interactive Spreadsheets
  •  Posters
  •  Speak-Up Packs

Like all programme publications, TOP is completely free of charge, and can be obtained by either visiting us at Truckfest or by calling the Freight Best Practice Hotline on 0845 877 0 877.
